EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

'BITTER CREEK'

BITTER CREEK, is the classic, American epic western drama, set at the
start of the Civil War in 1862. An amazing story of old-money, Charleston
plantation owner, forced to uproot from his beloved family plantation by
order of Confederate Occupation. He escapes with his young son and the
two sons of one of his dead slaves.  THOMAS STONE and the three boys
head to New Mexico where the U.S. government is giving away free land
to all who come and stake a claim.

They arrive in Bitter Creek, New Mexico and, in a few short years, have
made a successful ranch and growing family. Tom raises, Samuel and
Eugene, the two young sons of his deceased slaves, as they are his own.
Then, one rainy night, their idyllic family is shattered, when a defiant
young Samuel runs into trouble with the local law. After a deadly stand-
off, Samuel makes his escape from the Sheriff and his men, killing one
of the deputies, before disappearing into the night,  never to be seen again!

Ten years have passed... After a long and severe water drought threatens
to wipe out Bitter Creek and it’s once-prosperous community, water is
suddenly discovered on Tom's Ranch! The desperate town’s people decide
to take over Tom’s land under Imminent Domain. About to be under siege,
a determined Tom, son Daniel, and Eugene prepare to fight to protect their water rights.
