LOGLINE:  the feature film, is a sensitive, yet, powerful ensemble family drama starring two-time Oscar winning actress, Meryl Streep. 

The film focuses on the weekend of the funeral of her daughter, the mother of an interracial family, suddenly killed in an auto accident. Keeping a mutual promise, the grieving husband must now bring his two children to their mother’s burial place, back to her childhood home, a small farming town in Upper Michigan. 

There, after a bitter 20 years apart, David will meet his in-laws and the children their grandparents, for the very first time. When two boxes of secret letters are exposed between mother and daughter, letters that tell the story of their long and difficult separation from one another, as well as their own long marriages, both families must come to grips with what the secret letters reveal…
